Translation of survey paper on AI alignment published

A comprehensive survey paper on the field of AI alignment, AI Alignment: A Comprehensive Survey (https://arxiv.org/abs/2310.19852) We are now publishing a translation of the 4th edition of the book.

This translation was created by Hirotsugu Ohba and Sosuke Uradō of the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence and Science at Rikkyo University, with permission from Jiaming Ji, the lead author of the original paper, with the aim of advancing AI alignment research in Japan.
We would like to thank Mr. Ji for allowing us to translate this book, and we would like to express our respect to the authors.

When translating this survey paper, the translator used the translation tool DeepL to check the translated sentences and then corrected them to Japanese AI terminology.

The original version of this translation is the 4th edition (v.4) released on February 26, 2024. The 5th edition (v.5) was already released on May 1, 2024, and this translation is based on the previous version.
